MegaNeptunia Series vs Overload-dimension: Part 1

Image
We have previously discussed that the world needs more Neptunia! But right now I am inundated with megadimensions, hyperdimensions and the like… I am concurrently playing 3 different Neptunia genre games, the first of which: Hyperdevotion Noire: Goddess Black Heart Neptunia spin off, rather contentiously replacing Nep as the protagonist and putting the Fan favourite Tsundere, Noire as the main attraction. Not a conventional Nep RPG game, this one has stepped into the foray as a Tactical turn-based strategy RPG, And redesigning all the characters as Chibi versions of themselves. And Just for your reference is a little before and after: Noire normal model: posing and shooting from Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1 posing from the reloaded first dungeon, featuring pink ribbons in her hair with a Giant Dogoo in the background.  Noire Chibi model: seen performing special Move on Neptune here, beautiful metaphor for Noire smashing in here as the "Protagoni...

Dead or Alive: you are bathing with me

You know what,  I dislike the Dead or Alive Series: Way back in the heady days of 2010 back when we cared about the Chilean Miners and Wikileaks . I wrote a blogpost about a game I played back in the heady days of 2006 when we make crass Steve Irwin jokes and the danish drew some cartoons. And frankly I have not played a Dead or Alive game since then, the combat is clunky, random and just plain frustrating! UNTIL NOW!! They have bath and bedtime DLC!!! A fighting game in PJs and Towels. I'd pay money for that. Love and Remember when phones didn't have touchscreen? Richie X

The Guardian School of News Reporting

We're... urgh... digital natives and we're now of the generation where mainstream media journalists don't really represent us. They's falling over themselves to appear trendy and more than a little obsessed with Twitter. Last week we read a fascinating story in the Evening Standard about Z-Celebrities reactions to Z list Celebrities leaving Celebrity reality shows for 'medical reasons'. This was whole page. This is loser generated content at it's worst and for those of us who grew up on the mean streets of long forgotten forums and who cut our teeth trolling wicca websites the constant obsession with who said what onTwitter and the sheer laziness and naivety of reporting drives us insane. Richard Bacon's answer to the problems of Trolling (pronounced Trollllling not trole-ing apparently) is to make everyone's profile with their real name and photo.  yeah, because RealID worked out really well . Anywho. Who are we to complain? We're just the ...

Randy McSporran

OK do you remember we used to do a regular feature called That Guy's A Maniac? No? Because we only did three in a year and a half. Anyway, it's the return of That Guy's A Maniac and this years maniac is Randy McSporran. Randy McSporran used to be both our housemates and was a cool guy but now he's getting married and stuff in Estonia, so his wedding is essentially a funeral for the man we used to know. He's all about commitment and changing himself now. I'm kinda worried about it because I still owe him £200, but I always remind him when I see him, so it doesn't count. He also pronounces else as "elts" and is the only person I know who was once on the True Man List but then he did something which meant he was taken off the True Man List and could never get back on. No one can remember what he did though but it was during University so it was probably something like he wouldn't go to the shop at 3 in the morning to buy munchies. Anyway he is a g...
